Parks probably see more smiles and tears than any other public place. Kids laugh the entire way down the slide and cry their eyes out when someone crashes on top of them at the bottom. They jump and squeal upon arrival and kick and scream when it's time to go. It's an emotional roller coaster for little ones and torture for parents: Is it worth that horrific car ride afterward? Do we dare go? Tell me you haven't pondered that before!
Poor little Quinn wasn't so sure about her first trip down the slide, but she was equally distressed at leaving. Go figure. I predict, though, that in a few months the parks will hear her arriving squeals too. They clearly have already heard her cries.
